Due to increasing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, as well as guidance from the CDC and local public health departments, we have made the decision to reroute the 2020 Go the Distance for Autism event… and go virtual. At Alpine Learning Group, EPIC, Garden Academy, and the REED Foundation for Autism, we are unwavering in our commitment to support individuals and families with autism across New Jersey.
During these unprecedented times, our families are going to extraordinary lengths to support their children at home. Our clinical teams are working tirelessly to adapt the critical programming that is essential to the development of the young children, teens, and adults we serve. It goes without saying, our students and families need your support more than ever.
Go the Distance for Autism is a critical fundraiser for each of our programs. Stay tuned as we roll out important updates on our new virtual platform over the next couple of weeks. Please note, that all current teams, team members, and donations made to-date will not be affected by our move to a virtual platform. All participants will become virtual participants (you will not need to do anything). If you haven’t already registered, the process will remain the same. You will simply join a team or register as a virtual participant.
